BME-Forum „Purchasing of services“ on 31th August 2010 in Frankfurt/Main | |
POET Customer Advisory Board from 22nd to 23rd September 2010 in Karlsruhe |
Dear readers,
e-Procurement is now established in many companies. The BME study " Stimmungsbarometers Elektronische Beschaffung 2010" shows that some of the current e-procurement platforms are only moderately busy. Many companies exhaust only a part of the possible savings and value-added effects. It is therefore a great need to increase the current utilization rate. In addition to the connection of currently not integrated suppliers offers mainly the electronic purchasing of services the opportunity to increase this utilitzation. POET is here, through the concerted e-Procurement software and service benefits, a guarantee for success.
The internet is an integral part of our life and society. Even the shopping behavior, whether you're B2B or B2C, is shifting more and more towards the web. Together with our partners we offer a complete e-commerce for online sales. Logistic-Fulfillment ist integrated with KNO Logistik. Read more about this partnership in the section e-Business News.
The success in e-Commerce depends not only on an attractive shop concept but also on actuality and quality of sales information. We report in this newsletter about the service offered by POET that allows product information in high-speed.

In addition to the project eBusInstand, whith the topic standardization of services in maintainence, POET is officially engaged in the project SaaS4KMU since may this year. Business Services – Create spaces in Purchasing
The main objectives for the deployment of an eProcurement solution are speeding up processes, shorter delivery times and increase quality. Many activities are in the purchasing manual, despite high automation. How to create free time in purchasing and reduce manual work, can tell you our experts of Business Services.
Product information in high-speed – Now as Service
The problem : A variety of vendors and products are sent with different formats and information. Conclusion - a lot of work for the customer because, unfortunately, these data have not usually the required formats and content. Often, many manual steps are necessary to transfer selected products or product changes in an online inventory. The solution : Automation of supplier and product data. Beginning with the import, including data cleansing and testing modified and new products get synchronized with PIM or ERP system. – the basis for ranges and distribution to the sales channels.
The benefit: Time-to-market and reduction of manual and time intensive integration of product informations. By automating many more products can be included in an online inventory. Get here more details about POET Product Information Services.
