Use of collaboration, networked partners & processes

Use of collaboration- potential in individual projects while networking partners & processesThe collaboration tools from POET in use for the worldwide IT ordering processes for an automobile manufacturer.

We are happy - the project was awarded to POET. In early May a large corporation asked us to develop an IT-order platform that links themembers of our client and its subsidiaries with the suppliers and contractors. As much as possible to be automated, and yet there are operations remaining in the order process execution which can be solved by people by means of collaboration tools efficiently. POET Egypt says thank you

Turbulent times are behind us - the Egyptian Revolution shows us how collaboration - in this case slightly triggered by social media components - can make powerful changes in our lives. The revolution lasted 18 days, 6 days of which our office in Alexandria was not occupied, 5 days, the Internet is not officially work - but everything is no reason for delays of projects. Our infrastructure was well prepared for this exceptional case, data security was ensured at all times and all data were regularly synchronized with POET Germany.

We would like to thank our customers for their positive thoughts and wishes to our colleagues in Egypt. We are pleased that our customers continue counting on us and want to increase cooperation with Egypt POET so that we can write with you further success stories.

In his presentation, "Is agile Nearshoring at POET unlike development over 2 floors?" Prof. Dr. Nagi gives insight into the agile projectplanning and control. "Agile is not hype or trend in software development. But when it comes to agile nearshoring, the project-planning and control, represents a new challenge, particularly when agility streches beyond the boundaries of the development team (on site and Near Shore). Our philosophy aims at an integrated agile team in different locations, instead of establish two agile self-sufficient teams, "says Nagi.
