How Purchasing and Trade profit from the Cloud PIMAre conventional processes concerning catalog data exchange and product information management (PIM) still up to date according to your evaluation? Current PIM-Systems swell up the exchange between suppliers, customers and end customers causing unnecessary costs and slowing down sales- and competition-critical time-to-market times. For this reason, POET offers you an alternative: a cloud-based PIM-Concept, which automates and simplifies the master data and product information exchange across the entire supply chain. With Cloud-PIM, suppliers, service providers, buyers and customers collaborate on a virtual system, similar to an Online-Portal solution. At the push of a button, customers will have the certified assortment goods in the desired format at their disposal. In a matter of seconds, the purchasing department obtains the certified supplier data from one source and will be able to immediately create active assortment goods for its marketing channels. A future trend becomes reality. The POET Cloud-PIM-Solution is currently being customized for the needs of our customers in new customer’s projects for tools and agricultural business. You will find more information on the topic Cloud-PIM here (in German).

POET Egypt: 60% are women – We do not need any Women QuotaThe female quota, a concept we came across in the Media at the beginning of the year. Arguments in favour and against such a quota have been discussed sufficiently. While other business companies are confronted with it, at Poet the female quota does not come into question at all. To this day, 60% of the employees at POET Egypt are women. At Poet Egypt, women manage most of the projects. To one male project manager correspond eight female project managers. The satisfaction of our customers and the successful project processes are proof of a good and professionally competent work, regardless of our employees’ gender.
