Following a planned management buy-out, as of 1 January 2018 Gerlinde Wiest-Gümbel and Reiner Haas are the sole stockholders of the Karlsruhe company POET GmbH. The two CEOs are focusing on continuity for the e-business company: the transition has been seam-less for all customers and the 140 employees.
At the end of June 2017 POET GmbH succeeded in achieving SAP Gold Partner status as well as SAP Hybris Platinum Partner status. After becoming an SAP Hybris Gold Partner in January 2017, thanks to excellent customer ratings and its large number of certified SAP Hybris experts, the company has now joined a select group of only 13 countries in the world which have achieved platinum status.
Commercial enterprises as well as process industries such as food manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies are in many cases still hampered by significant weaknesses when it comes to integrating procurement and administration processes. In light of this, e-commerce specialist Poet and software and consulting firm cormeta have come up with a strategic alliance.
The eCommerce specialist Poet and the SAP service provider All for One Steeb have concluded a strategic cooperation agreement. The aim is to offer medium-sized customers a holistic approach covering the whole SAP portfolio in the field of eCommerce. Target groups include users in the automotive and mechanical engineering sector as well as other industries.
In order to ensure these are integrated into a homogeneous e-commerce system, Gerlinde Wiest-Gümbel, managing partner of POET consultants, has compiled five criteria for project design that are essential for success.
